Also taken in Huagang Park. He was one of 3 white ones the rest were the normal peacock colours.
Because of the crowd of people I couldn't move back to get him all in the frame. Took this one shot with the intention of getting a better spot and tried for a second only to discover my memory card was full. By the time I fiddled around he had moved away.

This view works so well. What a magnificent creature! I dont think I have seen one in just plain white. It looks so glorious. Thanks for sharing.
Aussie: Thank you M'roy, I had never seen a white one before.
OMG! An albino peacock! What a find, Aussie. For me, I love the closer-in crop, showing the splay of feathers. That is one proud peacock...and you can be one as well.
Aussie: Welcome back Ginnie. Thank you for the comments.
I like the frame filling shot too. It makes you imagine that there is more magnificence. A like for me.
Aussie: Thanks Mary, he was so magnificent.
Great capture! Stunning.
Aussie: Thank you for dropping by and commenting
a really great shot.i cant beleive how white he is
Aussie: Thanks Aaron, he was a lovely surprise right at the end of our tour of the park.
What a beauty! Wow! This is wonderful, Aussie.
Aussie: Thanks Kay.
Now that - is a fantastic image!
Aussie: Thanks Chris
Feather explosion! Excellent pic.
Aussie: Thank you Nigel.
I now understand the green and white now.I thought it was an 8gig card?
Aussie: Long story but I had a 4gig in, and had already put terracotta warriors on it.
Aussie, this is absolutely fantastic!
What a beautiful creature, and a superb photograph to do him justice
Aussie: Thank you Paul, comment much appreciated.
Wild! As it loaded I was baffled why you'd use B&W with a colorful subject. Ha, ha - tricky bird. I agree with those who like the tight close shot - it adds to the intensity of the birds eyes etc.
Fun shot of amazing pattern. Now when do we see terracotta warriors? Found you on One Way Photoblog - nice find.
Aussie: Thank you Hugh for dropping by and commenting. The warriors are next week.
Had to giggle at your apology for those ads on your site. Loved the snow photos, something we don't get in Queensland. Summer 2005 with the chipmunk was cute (something else we don't have)
Absolutely stunning, Aussie. He's had more than one kupje coughie.
Aussie: Definately more than one cup
This is really superb Aussie. The very first time I see a white one. Great capture!
Aussie: Thank you Richard, It was my first as well. There were 3 but the others were under a tree.
Is he actually an albino or just a white peacock? Fantastic sight either way
Aussie: I think he is albino. The surprise is that there were 3 of them. They either came from the same nest or it is a real freak of nature as albino is not a dominate gene.
beautiful bird, beautiful sot Aussie
Aussie: Thanks Tim
Oh wow, it's a beauty
Aussie: Thank you Ellie, he was lovely.
Really an explosion of white color!
When I went to China I saw a peacock like this...but it didn't spread it's tail for me
Really nice shot!
Aussie: This was at West Lake I wonder if it was part of the same family
I went to Hangzhou, that's near Shanghai! I think it was the west lake! LOL
That's a coincidence!
Aussie: Thats exactly where it was. There were gardens next to the lake and when I was there 3 white ones were wandering around. This one was a real show off.
