I was just about to take the pic when this guy jumps in so his friend could take his pic. Bonus for me. This is at the tram stop on the corner of Swanston st and Bourke st.

Very cool shot! I like this a lot! This would not work half as well without the guy and his absurd sweater.
Aussie: I was very lucky as I took a couple after he moved out and they look flat and boring.
What whimsical sculptures they are! I'm not sure the gent up front likes having his photo snapped.
Aussie: They were a lovely find.
Very interesting juxtaposition Aussie: I like it!
Aussie: Thanks Chris, glad you like it.
Truly a bonus! Australia had an abundance of great public art. It was one of my favorite things about the country.
Aussie: It really was a bonus, i was glad I spotted these.
he looks like hes been photo shoped into the picture.nice photo
Aussie: The background has been blurred in photoshop make the figures standout more. False DOF effect.
I can tell that this is one of those photo-op places, Aussie, where it's probably hard to ever get a photo without someone jumping into the queue. What a WONDERFUL, whimsical, creative set of statues!!! Your perspective is delightful.
Aussie: Thank you Ginnie for the kind comments. I was so pleased I didn't just walk past without noticing them as you do get used to seeing people queue for trams etc.
I like this shot Aussie. Great perspective with this guy in the queue
Aussie: Thank you Richard, i saw him and his friend checking out their shots as I moved away and thought that I probably chose the better angle as he wouldn't have got the statues faces.
Excellent composition and opportunity well grabbed
Aussie: Thank you Louis, I can be lucky sometimes.
He couldn't have timed it better. Great shot Aussie
Aussie: Yes perfectly timed and he wasn't even aware I took a shot.
I can tell he jumped right in, he does not have that totall confused face after they heard the bus had left 2 hours ago, Aussie, this is some great picture, love this kind of pics so much.
Aussie: Yes I'm glad Tracy didn't get in this queue, or she would still be waiting for that tram.
I love this and your title. Yup, well done.
Aussie: Glad you liked the title, and there was a bit of Aussie humour to it, as we call sweaters jumpers here. And that bright yellow and blue jumper made the shot for me.
well i wouldn't want to bump into them after a few too many
Aussie: You would swear of the drink for a while. With their lean you might just think you hadn't had too many at all.
Very entertaining shot. Well framed.
Aussie: Thanks Jewlya, This was one shot I really enjoyed taking.
Nice shot. made me smile. Definitely works better with the guy in it
Aussie: Thanks for dropping by and commenting and i agree the guy made the pic.
Just ace, really made the most of the opportunity.
Aussie: Thanks Nigel, i was lucky to be in the right spot.
Right place, right time, just what makes a photo good Aussie. Great set of statues as well.
Aussie: Exactly right Les, thank you.
Excellent composition!
Aussie: Thank you Porcsin for dropping by and commenting, I love your rural and landscape photos.
