...and you have captured it very well! Your shot of yesterday inspired me to run along to Glen Shiel today and I have taken and posted a "copy" of your shot on my blog today so you can see it in Autumn sunlight!
Aussie: Believe me I have a shot from every angle. I have posted a couple before, one was a night shot. Thank you for your shot of the five sisters. Everyone should visit and have a look.
I can see why it would be frequently photographed. The setting is stunning, with great colors and textures. This is a lovely image.
Aussie: Thank you. Red pen. This area was magical to me.
You got it on a great day with that awesome sky. Fabulous!
Aussie: Thank you Mary
Not only the most photographed, Aussie, but the most romantic, is what we were told. You've caught the Magic! I'll never forget this place!!!
What a nice place, and how nicely composed and colored by you Aussie. The lighted castle on the deep grey sky is really beautiful !
These are picture postcards.. outstanding photographs.. what stunning scenery. Well done.
Excellent colour and detail.
This, without doubting it is a "Likey" for me. Wonderful taking! I congratulate to you, Aussie!
Excellent picture, composition, colours, detail. I can see why many shutters click for this place.
I have checked David's 5 sisters. Scotland can now be my next destination. What season do you think will be the best for a first visit?
Excellent capture Aussie.
Beauty at it's best Aussie
you and David are trying to make me home sick today Aussie. Yes it is the most photographed but this is still a beautiful image, cracker. mal
Known as Kodak Castle! I once saw a picture someone had taken of all the tripod marks! This is a top class version.
Neat castle. I love shots like this.
Crisp light, great colors and nicely framed! Just turn it to the right enough to make the walls vertical and it will be perfect.
Absolutely beautiful. The briny water in front of it, tundra like landscape, and old stone building all go together like a fairytale setting.
You can see why it is the most photgraphed. It's fantastic. Nice shot. All the best, Dave.
Whilst it is probably true that it a well photographed castle, you should never pass up the opprotunity to take a picture of such a great building. It looks grand in the sunlight, it was raining when I was last there, didn't see much sun at all.
Well seen and presented.
I dont blame you for joining in, I must get up there some time. Nicely captured.
Good luck for the game today
Looks like the castel from highlander, very nice!
