Don't MOW the lawn yet

This Galah was happily munching on these weeds and wasn't worried about the mower.  The front now looks a bit odd with 3 rectangles of long weedy grass left at the verge just incase he's wants dinner tomorrow evening.

He's a bit of a galah if he doesn't pay attention to the Victa, Aussie...

He's gorgeous Aussie: lovely colours
Until i saw a picture of one I thought Flaming Galah was just an Australian insult!
Aussie: This is the first decent shot I have got of one.
Oh, the lovely galahs. When I think of my time in AU the birdlife instantly comes to mind with the galahs first and foremost as I saw so many of them.

Your galah is a handsome bird. Great picture.
What a beautiful bird. Great shot with very nice color.
Very kind and thoughtful of you to leave some nourishment for this colourful Galah, Aussie. Now you have this wonderful shot as a reward.

Oh yes it would be a tragedy for this little bird to be deprived of its feast.
I love it Aussie... great capture and i like the way that you cut your lawn... i leave patches of clover on some parts and daisies on others... flat grass is just boring....petersmile
