What a gorgeous shot of a very hansome bird Aussie
Aussie: He is a good looking bird. This area seems to attract a lot of them as there was 5 posts with a bird on each and a couple in the water. Friday's shot was one swimming just below this guy.

Aussie: He knew he was safe as there is a channel of water betwen me and him so he was happy to pose.

Aussie: Thank you kindly. With him sitting like this it would have been hard not to get a reasonable image. He knew he was safe because part of the creek is between us.

It looks remarkably comfortable, and remarkably full too
Aussie: Just on the edge of a tidal creek and the sea so food would be no problem. There were about 5 of them all sitting on posts and a couple in the water.
