What a gorgeous shot of a very hansome bird Aussie
Aussie: He is a good looking bird. This area seems to attract a lot of them as there was 5 posts with a bird on each and a couple in the water. Friday's shot was one swimming just below this guy.

Look at the tip of his beak, Aussie! And his eyes. And his feathers. OMG! You did him proud!
Aussie: Hi Ginnie, Hope things are going well for you! He just sat and posed, it would have been hard to miss a good shot.
A likey for me. Stunning!!
Aussie: Thank you Mary. Those Canberra visitors would be enjoying the warm of PEI. Canberra is known for being freezing in the winter and roasting in the summer

Sharp, soft, and a little goofy. Very well done!
Aussie: Martin I expected you to comment on the lovely rusty post and pity some birds got in the way! LOL He just sat and posed away as if it was expected.

Aussie: And I know your a bird lover too Bill. He happily posed as there is quite a gap of water between us.
Such an exceptional shot!! Everything about it is "on."
Aussie: Thank you kindly. With him sitting like this it would have been hard not to get a reasonable image. He knew he was safe because part of the creek is between us.

Excellent love the glint in it's eye.
Aussie: Lol and that's a natural one the sun was on him.
Top class natural history once again Aussie. Well done.
Aussie: Thank you Brian. I have a so so shot of 29+ of them (mums and babies) sitting together on a little man made island. Made me crave for a longer lens.

Wow!

It looks remarkably comfortable, and remarkably full too
Aussie: Just on the edge of a tidal creek and the sea so food would be no problem. There were about 5 of them all sitting on posts and a couple in the water.
