FERRY

I must apologise for my tardiness in visiting and replying to comments over the past week or so. Have been extra busy preparing for a phone interview (which I loathe), then filling out a long lengthy stream of paper work, that hasn't ended yet. Passed the interview and was offered a 12 month contract to work in London at the end of May. So all the effort might have been worthwhile and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that  nothing upsets the plans.

And that means you'll be closer to a lot of us, Aussie!!! YAAY! Don't miss your ferry when it's time to come....
Aussie: I'll be waiting for it days in advance just in case it leaves early.

Excellent picture. If you have time - see what it would like partly desaturated. I think it can also be good.

You will have you reasons for going to London and congratulations. It is just hard for me to think that you would want to leave that beautiful piece of australia where you live.
Aussie: Reason 1 -cheaper to travel to all the places I want to see.
Reason 2 Ditto. The attraction is the travel not the work. My UK registration was due and I thought why not, give it one last shot before I'm ready to retire.
Congratulations on your success Aussie. I am happy for you!
Fine night shot
Aussie: Thank you Richard. Had to do it, as it is too far and expensive from here to just go for holidays every year.
Congrats Aussie. Plenty of shots of the Thames to come then?
Aussie: When I left the UK last time I gave my UK and Europe guide away and have just purchased new copies. I'm drooling at the potential shots.
Great one and a likey !
Hope your project will be successful smile
Aussie: Thank you Zeb. Loved France last visit, so it is on the list again.
Glad to finally find out the news. I've been on pins and needles. How wonderful for you!!!! Skilled professionals like yourself have a true advantage of being able to write a ticket to work anywhere as there is such a shortage. You go girl and many, many congratulations.
Aussie: Thank you Mary. I would like to travel to Canada (for a holiday) after the UK as one of the younger nurses is going to Canada for two years at the same time. So you never know we might actually catch up.

An appealing combination of hard structures and fuzzy moving parts!
Aussie: Thanks Martin, it was the little moving boats that caught my eye.

Congratulations smile A phone interview, it sounds awful!

Bring some good weather with you please, we could do with some.
Aussie: It is awful as there is no immediate interaction, you can't see them rolling their eyes at your lame answer. I'll try to bring a good summer, but I'd like a white Christmas somewhere nice.
Like the way the movement combines with the sharpness of the pier and the colour of the reflections, well seen Aussie, and congratulations on the new job, hope you find many new subjects to photograph in London.
Aussie: I'm dreaming of taking photos over there.
Congrats on your new job and the pic, would be a good excuse to get a load of us together.
Aussie: Thanks Nigel. I'd enjoy seeing the faces behind the photos.
Very nice shot!
Aussie: Thank you Jose-Angel
