That's a glorious picture Aussie: I bet you had to get up early to take it
Aussie: This would have been 6am as it was on my way to work and is not far from home.

Very nice choices here - the black and white, the crispness of the details, and the framing with the trees up close on the left.

You are now producing these excellent pictures by the dozen. Excellent backlight.
This works very well in mono and the long shadows from the fence on the left enhance the fanning effect of the run of the land towards the bottom right corner.

With the hint of early morning mist too, you can almost feel the freshness of the air and smell the damp earth.

This image totally grabs me, Aussie, and is a Likey for me! Everything about it is wonderful, but especially that lone tree makes this for me!

Yuo are getting better each day mate And I like it
Aussie: Thanks Vintage, but this is actually a very old picture that was taken before I got 300D. When I wanted 5 days of B&W found I was one short so went to my archives to find one.
You've used the light to advantage. Lovely.
Aussie: Thank you for dropping by and commenting
LOvely cross lighting here Aussie and the B&W treatment adds that extra interest that might have not been there in colour.
Aussie: Thank you for dropping by and commenting Brian

Errm, don't know what else to say, but 'it' told me to write some more. wink
Aussie: Don't you just hate that.
Lovely b&w shot Aussie, perhaps a trim off the top, to lose some of the sky?
Aussie: Did a bit of a scroll and I think you are perfectly right Bill, it does look better with a bit of sky trimmed

I can feel the sun's rays. This is beautiful, and looks great in B&W. Good choice!
Aussie: Thank you Kay. I took this on my way to work ages ago and it's been in my archives just waiting to escape.
