Nice Cityscape with the water a bonus.
Aussie: The water always seems to add to a scene, I think.
Nice contrasts between the various color lights and between the trees and the buildings.
Oh I really like this one - Brisbane city lights are always the best!
Aussie: Thank you Jodi for dropping by and commenting
The first thing out of my mouth was WOW! Great night shot, Aussie! You can be proud of this!!!
Aussie: Thanks Ginnie, I had wanted to go out to practice for ages.
I probably could stay there for hours. Fascinating city night shot.
Aussie: Trouble was we did stay hours longer than intended. I got to bed after 2 am.
This is no practising - way too good. Such excellent detail.
Aussie: My friend Gale is usually the photographer in her family, but couldn't get the hang of night shots, so Brian took over and took the most awesome shots and all manually set by him. Next to his results believe me I'm still practicing.
gorgeous scene Aussie, superbly captured, i wish i had some local night scene's like that to have a crack at
Aussie: It is a lovely river that wraps around the city centre and has numerous bridges that cross it and even though it is only a 40 minute drive away this is the first time I've gone in to photograph it at night.
Wow - what a wonderful cityscape!
Aussie: The river bends around the city so you can get nice shots from both sides. I'de only ever taken shot from the Southbank side at dusk before and day shots of this side.
Does not seem to me that you need to `practice`. You seem to have the techniques required, well and truly in the bag. Stunning detail and colour. You must have been thrilled with this one. (:o)
Aussie: Thank you Rosalyn but actually, I accidently posted the wrong one. My first choice was from futher back so the tops of the building were in view. I might post it later.
You don't need practise this shot is awesome Aussie. Love the blue reflection in the water.
Aussie: Yes, but if you are like me any reflection will do. I just love anything that will reflect light.
What a beautyful night shot Aussie. The colours and the details are great
Aussie: Thank you Richard, we really enjoyed our night out, that ended in the early hours of the morning.
Beautiful one !!! I love this melting of colours ...
Aussie: Thank you Ann, glad you like it.
Love the lighting on the water, great night shot!
Aussie: Thank you Michelle for dropping by and commenting.
Amazing night shot with those different colors in lighting. It looks that you don't really need the 'practise' Aussie.
Aussie: Thank you Scarlet, your very kind.
Stunning colours and great clarity.
Ingrid
Aussie: Thank you Ingrid. keep those lovely reds comming
Doesn't look like you need to practice! Lovely night shot
Aussie: Thanks Bill. Most of them were from that "School"
beatyful night shoot, i lke it
Aussie: Thank you for dropping by and commenting.
The practice payed off thn, grand image, just like the blue reflection
Aussie: Thank you Les, this was one of the later shots. Some of the first ones were deleted before they saw the light of day.
Aussie this is phenomenal, great night pictures, a likey to me, love the refelction of the blue light, nice job
Aussie: Thank you Astrid, I was surprised how far the blue light spread. In a rejected shot the water is red and blue with no colour between and I couldn't pick were the red was comming from.
super night shot Aussie. I remember Neal posting a similar one and being impressed with that to. I like it. mal
Aussie: Thank you Mal, I looked at Neal's and I think we were probably on the same cliff (rock climbers delight) except he was further around the bend.
Lovely reflections... and to think this is just practice
Aussie: You should see the shots that never made it, then you would see why I need to practice.
I like much this nocturnal image. I, personally would trim the photo, leaving outside the hoisted zone of the right. Bravo!
When I dream about a night shot of a town....
A likey and a standing ovation !!!!
Just Awesome Aussie, the electric blue reflection makes it special, Fantastic !
