WOMBAT

Men are sometimes called wombats by Australian women and it's not because of their cute looks. I'm sure Ray might enlighten you on their eating habits.

This is a wonderful image, Aussie, made even better by the interesting light.

Is this the legendary "Fat arsed" species, made famous during the Sydney Olympics?

Ah yes, the eating habits of the wombat...like the Australian Bloke, it "eats, roots, shoots, and leaves"... [grin]
dont think they are canivours so you are safe Aussie, very nice image

And I immediately thought, What a cute bear! grin It looks so cuddly. Now I wonder if you can buy these as cute plush toys, like you can the koalas?

I've never seen a wombat before Aussie: I'm ashamed to say. He certainly looks full of character!

Well you invited Ray to it ...

I know this guy, whose dad calls his mother-in-law the wombat. Nice to put a picture to it tongue

Sexy little animal, I can see why the sheilas refer to their men as wombats. Probably have good manners as well.
I've held them and they are very dense and solid. Their backsides are like steel. Sounds like three men.
Its a lovely shot Aussie, I can only imagine... smile why men are called it!smile
Wonderful capture Aussie!

LOL.. whnat a great pose! Can't say I've seen any of these before. Well done for not putting this in the centre.
Eating habits aside, this is one cute fellow, Aussie. Love the look he is giving you.
A great shot Aussie, I have only ever seen one of these, in a zoo in Stutgart. They appear to be cuddly little characters, please don't tell me otherwise.
