GLADSTONE POWER STATION

While Vintage was in Europe, Zed and I decided to go out to Ipswich Power Station and we were extremely disappointed when we discovered that the cooling towers were straight.

 While I was in Rockhampton I went down to Gladstone to take some night shots and discovered their power station, which also has straight cooling towers. But at least this one had 3 compared to the 2 at Ipswich.

What's this fetish you and Zed share regarding non-straight cooling towers, Aussie?

Odd numbers are usually better compositionally.

And I didn't capture one smoke stack.I like the b/w conversion
Nice shot, even though these towers do not have the same grace as the curved ones.

Wait. What does a NON-straight tower look like, Aussie?? LOL at Tracy. Have you come up with a name for you, Vintage and Zed yet???
Aussie: The twisted sisters sounds good and it's a bit of a joke on our occupation. You will see the lovely curved variety today.
