AWESOME Aussie, just amazingsmile
Very strong image Aussie, is this one of those fires we read about that you get regularly in Australia?
Aussie: Usually grass fires in this area, however this one burnt down a few empty houses that were on an industrial site
This is lovely, dramatic, exciting and fantastic. Added to my likeys.

Superb photo here, Aussie. Into dreamland I come.
Super shot Aussie, although I guess a bit scary
Very apt title, it does look like that very much. I like the reflection you've got here.
Aussie: Thank you Alan, there was a large fire nearby so the colour was intensified by the smoke etc

A very dramatic scene very well captured,i bet you are pleased with the outcome? delightful colours, and the little bush in the water at the middle front is an added bonus to finish it off.Being an angler,i also liked yesterdays posting very much.
Aussie: Thank you Graham, I knew it would be a nice shot as soon as I saw the scene.
re yesterday's- The boy fishing said him and his mate loved fishing and always went to that spot. Happily let us take photos and one of their mothers came to collect them just as we were leaving.
Most excellent - what more can we say.

amazing, just love this one
Aussie: This is Rockhampton, yes it's hot up there and isn't the cultural hub of the universe but I think I will be happy up there. My son and new grandchild (later in year) will be there plus my best friend of 30 odd years. keeping the gate open though have not sold my house here. If I hate it I can return and get a job at QE2 (Iknow the new boss) lol. Rocky also has a fantastic camera club.

I hope it all goes well for you up there, but I (selfishly) would also love to see you at QEII, Zed has kindly offered to take me on one of your mad field trips, so you can't leave until after that! Or maybe we can come for a trip up to Rocky?? My favourite thing about Rocky is the signs at rail crossings that say "Watch For Trains" smile
