photoblog image Old Pier

Old Pier

This is the breakwater that runs parallel to Shorncliff. I think the end and posts are from the old pier.

Caught up on some sleep now so,  this was yesterday's original shot before I got carried away with split toning a lizard.

wonderfully simple (and vise versa), Ms. Aussie. To make it even simpler (and even more wonderful), the image needs a little cleaning- the white stuff on the top got to go, as well as the second post at the border. smile
Aussie: I did a version like that prior to posting this and I can't remember why I didn't like it. Now I will have to go back and do it again just to satisfy my own curiosity. As always thank you for your comment and advice Victor
This is great stuff, love the simplicity I agree with VZ suggestions they will make all the difference.smile
Aussie: Thank you Nigel, I will have a go at Victors advice.

Very artistic: lovely colours
Most unusual colour Aussie and the slow shutter speed really goves the water a misty air. Quite a graphic presentation really.
Aussie: Thank you kindly brian
A little crop off the top and then for me it is perfect
Aussie: Many thanks Bill
Incredibly beautiful image!

Lovely shot. The slow shutter speed makes the water look like a floating cloud.
That's a lovely lilac colour. I particularly like the monochrome effect of this scene - there's no other colours to distract. Very clean effect.
Wonderful photo! The feeling of being in the clouds ...
