And to think they are there in all their glory whether anyone sees them or not, Aussie! (I'm glad YOU saw them, however!)
Aussie: It was a wonderful moment when this came into view. My granddaughter said "Wow, I have seen places like this on TV but never thought I would ever see them in real life." One of many memories we have shared, but I'm not sure how many of the others she actually remembers.

Well spotted Aussie, magnificent background
Love this shot... has a very unusual feel to it, I think because of the out of focus backdrop and lovely colouring in the foreground
Wonderful capture Aussie. They look like grape hyacinths!
Nice use of DOF to have the two levels either sharp or otherwise Aussie, a really pleasant picture.
PEI is famous for it's lupins I love the photo with the mountains in the background.

Excellently DOFfed. And a beautiful landscape as well.
Look like Lupins. I like lupins but have never managed to grow them, they always get eaten!!!
Lovely picture
Aussie: I wasn't sure what they were but there was miles and miles of them.

Ah, this shot is so fresh! Its 5pm and I was all tired and ready to go home and crash on the couch before attending groceries, but now, after seeing this picture, I feel like working some more and getting groceries done asap and maybe fit in a run outside somewhere. tongue lovely perspective.

The flowers look like lupine to me, Aussie. I love them, but I'm allergic to their smell. They are all over the Sierra Nevada mountain range in California.
