Love the reflections Aussie, but most of all the sun shone for you, when I was there it rained but it did not put a dampner on my tripsmile
Great shotsmile
Aussie: It was raining the day I arrived, got drenched looking for my hotel. Luckily the sun was out most days for a good part of the day.
If I ever get round to renewing my long expired passport, I think I might just go to Amsterdam. As long as I can get tea.
Aussie: Bill they do tea so well, almost any brand you desire.

WOW Aussie you have been around, LOVE this BRILLIANT picture, it is really sad we could not go on picture hunt together with Ginnie, it is a pity we did not have any time...we would have had a ball, I love the little white boat with the blue cover.
This is pure delight, if Ginnie could see this, it will bring back many happy memories.
Enjoy you photo shoot with Vintage, please say hello from me.

I like the way that the modern commercial buildings fit around the canal. Good reflections here and looks to be a lovely place to spend a lunch break.
Aussie: There a a lot of beautiful canals and waterways, a photographers delight.

its a beautiful city and this is such a typical scene from it. Super shot. mal
Aussie: Thank you Mal, it was a beautiful country.
If you hadn't told me, I would have said this could be any number of towns or cities. It reminds me of Manchester and Wigan especially, in the north of England. smile
Aussie: It is funny you should say that because I have some shots taken in "Canada Waters" London that are much the same.
It's years since I went to Amsterdam and I don't remember seeing buildings like the one in the background. A nice mix of new and not so new.
Aussie: This canal is just past the zoo, so is out of the city centre.
Nice mix of things here, Aussie. The City old and new, water with reflection, boats and greenery. Excellent.
Aussie: Thanks Chad, I took heaps of canal shots, because with there reflections they are so tempting.

Throw back to the past, or are you travelling again? I like the modern and old huddled together.
Aussie: August 2008 Louis so it is not that far in the past. In fact I am only just getting time to wade through the pics I took.

Aussie: A lot of people have mentioned the bad weather but the majority of the time I was there it was warm and sunny.

What can I say that the others haven't already said? This is great photography. I have always wanted to live on a barge on boat. Dream on!
