photoblog image Photo Hunt # 1

Photo Hunt # 1

Vintage and I went on a photo hunt together last Thursday, and he kindly took me to some of his favourite spots.

This is a drain that collects the runoff rain water and directs it into the lake. It has been nicely decorated on both sides.

Wonderful composition Aussie. The image is so clear and neat with superb colours! I like the light/shadow/play.
Aussie: In fact thats what I said to Vintage, "I like the shadows and reflection."

You brought a smile to my face, I hope you and Aussie had the same good feeling about these hunts as Ginnie and I have.
This is a wonderful picture, great colours and the grafitty....pure art, love it, and the picture too smile
Aussie: We had a really nice time. He was very generous with sharing his favourite spots.
I did not realise that you and vintage are aquainted. Do you live near each other?
Aussie: We live miles apart, you need to pack a lunch and a six pack for the journey. We work together and we both travel the approx the same distance to work but from opposite directions.

YAAAAAY for photo hunts. I bet you and Vintage had a ball, Aussie. Astrid and I go as often as possible to new places. We'll do it again this week now that I'm back in AMS. I'm eager to see what else you found with Vintage!
Aussie: We had a nice few hours and I gor to see his garden where he takes all those nice flower shots.
He knows some interesting places! Classy graffittismile
Aussie: The graffitti in my neck of the woods is nowhere as classy as this. He took me to some lovely spots.
Your eyes lead up to the excellent graffitti, like it.
Aussie: Thanks Nigel

Great shot the reflection of the sign looks good
Aussie: You remembered that I said I wished the sign wasn't in the reflection at the time, changed my mind when I saw the result.

Nice composition Aussie. I should go on one of these shutterhunts, its becoming a fad
Aussie: You should as it's good fun.
He has the bluest skies I think. So much to look at here. I like it.
Aussie: The sky was totally blue and reflected beautifully in the water all day
Ah! This one is almost art - and says so much on many levels. Great piece!
Aussie: Thank you Alexandra

Fabulousd reflections, and as much as I hate graffiti, it adds real wow factor!

Beautiful colours and composition
Aussie: I think it was a commissioned piece as it is almost too good. Plus the walls on both sides have been decorated in two different styles. Will show the other side on Friday. Thank you for the visit and comments.
