photoblog image SOUP

SOUP

These were infront of a restaurant and I noticed the steam coming off them as I approached.  When I mentioned them to others later in the day they suggested that they probably contained soup as it is often served at all meal times. I thought that it could also be the base stock for the meals as that would be a lot of soup. The bottom section was the fire box and had a small door for adding fuel. The grate appears to be for any overflow.

Amazing concept and so sensible too. Enticing those who walk by to stop for some delicious soup!

Well-processed as usual, Aussie!

LOL at Astrid. Enough for all of us with second helpings! smile I love the perspective, Aussie.
I would like to see this in colour as well Aussie, don't know if I'd fancy the soup though.
Fascinating Aussie well seen.
Hi Aussie, not something you see everyday. Well spotted.
