That's a glorious picture Aussie: I bet you had to get up early to take it

Very nice choices here - the black and white, the crispness of the details, and the framing with the trees up close on the left.

You are now producing these excellent pictures by the dozen. Excellent backlight.
This works very well in mono and the long shadows from the fence on the left enhance the fanning effect of the run of the land towards the bottom right corner.

With the hint of early morning mist too, you can almost feel the freshness of the air and smell the damp earth.

Aussie: Thanks Vintage, but this is actually a very old picture that was taken before I got 300D. When I wanted 5 days of B&W found I was one short so went to my archives to find one.
