photoblog image Daylight Saving Time

Daylight Saving Time

Clock Tower at St Kilda Beach.

Victoria has daylight savings as does most of the other states but Queensland has always resisted the change. "The extra hours sunlight might fade the curtains" or  "How would the cows cope with the change".

Victoria is a lovely state. We have friends in Melbourne who we stayed with last year. Love your Queensland comments.
Aussie: I was born in Victoria and lived there for 40 years so have always liked it, but it just gets too cold in the winter.

Good on Queensland!
Aussie: We could use it here as it is daylight at 4.30 am in the summer and dark by 7pm. But as the majority of population is in the country areas we lose the debate everytime. They have thought about bringing it in just in the very south Queensland area ie Brisbane and Goldcoast.
I like very much the light management in this one !
