ENJOYING THE VIEW

My little dog woke me up (night shift) and on investigating discovered that these were the people she considered a threat to our safety.

I grabbed the camera because the girls caps were such lovely colours. Then decided to go B&W

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Your little dog knew you absolutely could NOT miss this shot, Aussie! I LOVE it, especially in B&W! Great DOF.

Happy New Year!
Aussie: Totally forgot to be crabby with her once I saw the potential for a nice shot.

This is some DOF in the picture, very well captured, keep these comming Aussie, Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!!
Aussie: I think the dof is deceptive because just past the fence there is a really steep slope so you are looking a fair distance away and not the immediate landscape.
I wish you all the best for you and your family too !!
Aussie: Thank you Florence.
Happy New Year Aussie. Lovely picture.
Aussie: Thanks Bill.
What a lovely shot ..and yes I am enjoying the view. Happy New Year
Aussie: Thank you for dropping by Shakara and commenting.

Lovely shot Aussie. I like the way their heads make a diagonal line. Looks good in b/w too. Happy New Year to you.
Ingrid

Fantastic shot Aussie - looking out into the future. Have a great 2008.
Aussie: Thank you much appreciated
Kerrin, you are such a spoilsport, should have let us see the wonderful colours that attracted you grin LOL. This works very nicely in mono, the composition is great. There is something a little strange about the focus/processing around the cow, but otherwise, great shot. Many regards and all the very best for 2008, Neil.
Aussie: Just a little patience Neil. The cow must have moved at the crucial time the shutter went, because I didn't do much with this aside from changing to mono. Thank you, your comments are always welcome.
lovely capture Aussie as always, wishing you all the best for the coming year.....timsmilesmilesmile
Aussie: Thanks Tim.

Nice DOF and the use of B&W is so clever !!! It makes it be so poetic !!!
Aussie: Thank you Ann, they liked in B&W too. They were back again the next day so I went out introduced myself and confessed I'd taken photos of them and showed them the result and gave them a copy.
Happy New Year to you Aussie - hope it's a good one.
Aussie: Thank you Bernie and a happy and safe new year to you.
You did right to get your camera out! Happy New Year

Hope you catch up with the lost sleep asap for a fresh start to 2008.

The kids against the fence with the downhill drop makes an excellent picture. Well caught oh sleepy eyes smile
Aussie: As soon as I catch up on the sleep, I find myself back on nights and I'm not the best sleeper during the day anyway.
Nice pic! Aussie. Happy New Year too for you and yours!
Very very nice and optimist picture for this new year smile
Aussie: Thank you Zeb
