Well spotted, Aussie. I'd work a bit more on composition, though. Like yours, my backyard is full of Little secrets. It's our job to find them and let folks to marvel.

Aussie: Thank you for the link and I have left a message. I'm posting a second pic of this tomorrow from a different angle.

I knew it, Aussie! I just knew it. Thanks for confirming it for me. I love how the background color compliments the bronze-like toadstool. It's like a sculpture!
Aussie: I cannot describe the delight I felt when I discover these.

I always thought that aussies are beyond fairies. I can see that if you find this little umbrella in your backyard that you can get converted to believe in the existence of little people.

Great picture and composition.
Aussie: We grew up with snugglepot and cuddlepie the wonderful gumnut babies created by May Gibb. The lived in the seed pod of the wattle trees along with ragged blossom and the only thing that scared them was the Banksia (another Australian tree that has a strange seed pod that looks like it has big open mouths on it) men. Now how could I not believe in fairies.
Great macro shot Aussie. The lighting and the colours are beautyfull. I can see a gold tee here. Where is the ball?
Aussie: It landed in the rough.

Aussie, when I opened this photograph and it came up on my screen, I was simply awestruck by the beautiful colors. Isn't amazing what we find when we take the time?
Aussie: It is so amazing how we look differently at things once we start to take photographs on a daily basis.
