I liked the effect of the lights on the water but wondered if the bit at the side looks too grubby and I should have cropped it off. Or just cropped it all tighter.

The reflections are great, the colours too

I think you're right, a little tighter crop, leaving out some of the parts on the left side could improve the pic, at least it's worth a try...
